Design Visualization: A Way to See Programming Implications

Page/SST Planners can provide full motion video or selected still images shortly after program development to assist a client in making decisions about the layout or organization of laboratory spaces. Such items as material and color selection, location and size of windows, and important spatial determinants such as furniture and equipment locations can be visually displayed to enable an informed decision making process. Computer generated visualization is always valuable if provided early in the design process. Changes later in the design process, when they are more costly to implement, can often be avoided by the use of visualization during the early planning phase

Visualization of a Corporate Laboratory to show the relationship of bench, equipment and natural light

Visualization of a University Laboratory to show the quality of casework, characteristics of the lab, and the relationship to offices
